He was preceded in death by his father Clyde Bolton and brothers Jerry Bolton and Bobby Jones.
He is survived by his mother Betty Jones, the mother of his children Frances Bolton Rains, son David Bolton, Jr. and wife Norma of LaFollette, TN, daughters Tina Hartter and husband David and Natalie Bolton both of Jacksboro, TN, brothers Alan Jones of Maryville, TN and Mike Bolton of Georgia, sisters Deanna Davis and husband Donnie and Debbie Bostic and husband Larry both of LaFollette, TN, grandchildren Whitney Bolton, Melissa White, Kelsey Oakes, Tera Hartter, Rylee Oakes, Luke Hartter, and Kylie Lambert, as well as several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Memorial service will be at 8:00 p.m. Sunday, July 17, 2011 in the Martin-Wilson chapel with Rev Archie Seiber and Rev Jeff Moses officiating. Interment will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 18, 2011 in the Powell Valley Cemetery with the Campbell County Honor guard in charge of the service. Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. prior to the service.
