Abram Bollinger Succumbs at 77
Abram E. Bollinger, 77, of 884 Pointview Ave., Ephrata, died at 11:15 p.m. Wednesday after an illness of one year.
A retired farmer, Bollinger was last employed at Green Dragon Farmer Auction, Ephrata R3.
He had lived in Ephrata since 1952, formerly residing at Stevens R1.
Bollinger was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church, Brickerville, where he was a member of the Sunday School. He was a charter member and former trustee of Durlach-Mt. Airy Fire Co, and was a member of Pioneer Fire Co., Ephrata.
Born in Clay Township, he was a son of the late John and Lizzie Eberly Bollinger.
In addition to his widow, Mae Palm Bollinger, he is survived by two sons, Elam P., Manheim R7; Ray P., Stevens R1; and a daughter, Arlene P., wife of Harry H. Good, Rexville R1, N.Y.
He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Annie, wife of Phares Zartman, Stevens R1; Mrs. Ada Walters, Stevens R1; and Mrs. Minnie Deater, Schaefferstown, and one brother, Rufus Bollinger, Denver R2.
