Mrs. Jacob F. Serfass

Mrs. Allis E. Serfass, 60, of Palmerton R. 1, died Tuesday in the Allentown Hospital.

Born in Lower Towamensing Township, Carbon County, she was a slaughter of the late Nathan and Alaresta (Diehl) Bollinger.

Mrs. Serfass was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Towamensing.

Surviving are her husband, Jacob F. Serfass; three sons, Jacob F. Jr. of Lehighton, Walter with the U.S. Navy at Lakeburst. N.J.. and Albert at home; six daughters, Elizabeth, wife of Edwin Trexler of New Tripoli R. 2; Emma, wife of Dale Fink of Lehighton R. 4; Wilma, wife of Donald Mohr of Breinigsville R. 1; Ruth, wife of Carl Hausman of Alllentown, and Pauline and Delores, both at home. Also, five brothers. John, Charles and Richard Bollinger, all of Palmerton R. 1, Frank Bollinger of Palmerton R. 2 and Mahlon Bollinger of Lehighton R. 4; a sister, Jennie, wife of Guy Smith of Kunkletown R. 2, and nine grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday in the Kegel Funeral Home. 145 Delaware Ave., Palmerton. There will be no viewing.
