Adam Bollinger, 78, was a farmer Adam B. Bollinger, a longtime farmer who lived at 154 Westbrook Drive, Ephrata, died at home Monday afternoon after a three-month illness. He was 78.
He and his wife, Eva W. Good Bollinger, were married for nine years on March 30. His first wife, Elizabeth Mae Buffenmyer Bollinger, died in 1982.
Bollinger was employed most recently with Gehman's Feed Mill, retiring in 1981. He farmed from 1936-1967.
A member of Middle Creek Church of the Brethren, he was a former Cemetery trustee for the church.
He was a member of Lincolm Friendly Circle, and he enjoyed camping and traveling.
Born in Clay Township, he was the son of the late Norman and Katie Burkholder Bollinger.
Besides his wife he is survived by three sons, Glenn E., E. James, and Raymond C., all of Ephrata; a daughter, Martha J., wife of Glenn E. Summy of Ephrata; and four stepdaughters, Faye Deemer of Ephrata; Joanne, wife of Harvey Buzzard; and Elaine, wife of Willis Buzzard, both of New Holland R1, and Gerri Wenger of Ronks.
Also surviving are nine grandchildren; a great-grandchild; 17 stepgrandchildren; 14 stepgreatgrandchildren; and a brother, Paul B., of Myerstown.
