Ethel Bolinger, Artist Dies
LODI-Funeral services for Mrs. Clara Ethel Bolinger, 81, wife of the late Dr. Hugh J. Bolinger of Lodi, will be held tomorrow. Mrs. Bolinger died Tuesday in a Lodi convalescent home. She was a well known artist and resided here over 50 years. One of the founders of the Lodi Community Art Center, she also belonged to the Northern California Arts Association, Kingsley Art Club of Sacramento and Stockton Art League. Mrs. Bolinger was a member of the Lodi Chapter of Eastern Star and was an honorary member of the Lodi Women's Club. She was affiliated with the First Congregational Church of Lodi. Dr. Bolinger, who died in 1947, practiced medicine in Lodi 35 years.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Jean Ardelle Lind of Lodi; a son, Hugh Bolinger of Stockton; three grandchildren and a great-grandchild. She was the sister of Mrs. Gladys Bare of Kansas and Myron F. King of New York.
