Fern M. Jacoby was born June 9, 1905 at Olin, Iowa the daughter of Riley A. and Mildred Fern (Stone) Jacoby. She married Tom Boleyn. Fern was a longtime Oelwein resident and prior to retiring she had been self-employed and had been a Watkins Products Dealer for over 50 years. She enjoyed making stuffed toys, crocheting, camping, fishing and the outdoors.
Survivors include; 4 sons and daughter-in laws: Ralph and Marla Boleyn of Washburn, Iowa; Sidney and Donna Boleyn of Hazelton, Tommie Boleyn of Marion, Iowa and Roger and Marlys Boleyn of Oelwein; 5 daughters and son -in-laws Elenora Beahr of Waterloo; Mildred Bradey of Sunrise Beach, Missouri; Shirley Milligan of Waterloo; Judy and Russell Walker of Cedar Rapids, 43 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and many great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son Dwayne Leonard Boleyn, daughter Lillian Welsh, brother Paul Jacoby, 2 sisters Gertrude Bates and June Turner.
