She was born 25 Aug 1890 at Streeter, West Virginia. Amanda was the daughter of the late William and Clara Pack Vest.
In 1911 she married her first husband the late David W. Basham. She was also, preceded in death by a daughter Clista Pearl Basham and two sisters Mamie Atlee and Alma Vest.
Survivors include her Stanley L. Boley of Alexandria, VA; two daughters Mrs. Edith Basham Mathis of Daniels, WV; and Mrs. Rosalee Boley Swim of Atlanta, GA. Three brothers: Howard of Nimitz, Alvis of Streeter, and Charley of Beckley; and two sisters: Mrs. Lottie Mann of Daniels and Mrs. Lola Meadows of Daniels; three grand- children, and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral was 2 Mar 1966 and burial at Sunset Memorial Park.
