Visiting at Southern Funeral Home, Winnfield, 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, and 8 a.m. to religious services at 2 p.m. Wednesday, conducted by the Rev. Doyle Wesson and the Rev. Jimmy Yocum.
Survived by two daughters, Myrtis Edwards and Willie Mae Parent, both of Baton Rouge; three sisters, Zella Hancock, Monroe, Alma Sandifer, Winnfield, and Gladys Lowery, Joyce; a brother, Edward Gates, Monroe; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Preceded in death by husband, H.S. Boles.
She was a member of East Winnfield Baptist Church.
