Eleanor B. Bole, 95, of 913 Polk Cutoff Road, Polk, Sandy Creek Township, formerly of Fourth Ave., Sharon, died at 4:40 p.m. Sunday April 10, 2011, in The Caring Place, Franklin,

Mrs. Bole was born Feb. 20, 1916, in Greenwood Township, Crawford County, the daughter of Clem and Ina Peterson Seeley.

She attended Sharon schools.

She retired in 1983 from the J.C. Penney Co., Hermitage, where she was employed for 35 years.

She was a life-long active member and Sunday school teacher of what is now known as the Oasis Family Worship Center in Hermitage, where she had belonged to their Women's Ministries and Women's Missionary Society.

Her husband, Allen R. Bole, whom she married June 23, 1934, died July 10, 2003.

She is survived by a daughter in-law, Donna Bole of Polk; four grandchildren, James Bole and his wife, Pam, of San Jose, Calif., Pam Watson and her husband, Tim, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, Allen Bole and his wife, Jennifer, of Temperance, Mich.,and David Bole and his wife, Heather, of Clarksburg.

Also surviving are eight great-grandchildren, Ryan and Coleen Bole of San Jose, Bradley and Joseph Trice of Cuyahoga Falls, Jacob and Tyler Bole of Temperance, and Reese and Noal Bole of Clarksburg.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, the Rev. Ronald C. Bole and Gordon Bole; and her two sisters, Dorethia Williams and Yvonne Howard.

Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. today in the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 E. State St., Sharon.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Thomas Cochran of Buena Vista Pentecostal Holiness Church, Buena Vista, Va., officiating.

Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Hermitage.
