Rita Boldrey Adams, formerly of Bridgeport, Ill died Monday June 14, 2004, at her home in Birmingham, Al She was 63.
Born in Bridgeport, Ill on Feb 13, 1941, she was the daughter of Lester Boldrey and Anna Boldrey Goodwin. She married James R Adams and he survives, She taught travel agent trainees and retired as the manger of a travel agency, she was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Trussville, Al.
Survivors include her husband, James R Adams, of Birmingham, Al, her mother Anna Boldrey Goodwin of Birming ham Al., three daughters Lesa Zabowski and husband Dan, Lonna Tucker and Husband Greg and Jamie Ambrose and husband Ted, all of Birmingham Al one step-son James Adams of Birmingham Al; one step daughter Pam DeWitt and husband Marc of Birmingham, Al; seven grandchildren, father-in-law R. C. Adams and one sister-in-law Cheryl Adams, both of Birmingham Al.,one sister-in-law Ruth Boldrey of Bridgeport.
She was preceded in death by her father, one brother Allen Boldrey and her step father John Goodwin
Graveside services and burial will be held at the Sumner City Cemetery, Sumner, Ill on Saturday. July 24, 2004 at 2;00 pm. There will be no Visitation Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society through the Cunningham Funeral Home in Bridgeport, Ill who are in charge of arrangements.
