Carrie J. Bohrer, 78, of 124 East York, passed away Monday afternoon at Burgin Nursing Home.

Mrs. Bohrer was born in Richland Co. Dec. 3, 1894, daughter of Fred and Elizabeth Harmon Utz.

She was first married to Joe Breese who preceded her in death.

On Dec. 24, 1918, Mrs. Bohrer was united in marriage with Louie Bohrer in Richland County, he also preceded her in death, March 18, 1948.
Mrs Bohrer was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church.

Surviving are: one son, Robert Bohrer of Olney, two daughters, Mrs. Joe (Anna May) Roach of Lafayette, Louisiana, and Mrs. Imogene Jones of Farmington, Mo., one brother-in-law, Louis Stivers and one sister-in-law, Mrs. Ed Utz of Olney, 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Bohrer was preceded in death by one son John Breese, two brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of the Zirkle Funeral Home with Pastor Glenn Leaf officiating. Interment will be in the Haven Hill Cemetery.
