Mrs Severidt was born March 30, 1892 in Dahkelsheim, Germany, the daughter of August and Leona Henze Bohnsack. She grew up and received her education in Germany.
She came to Marshall county in 1910 and on February 11, 1915 she was united in marriage to Louis Armbrecht at Lamoille. The couple lived in Clemons and later farmed near there. She was preceded in death by her husband and one son.
In 1929 she came to State Center to reside. She was married to W C Severidt in 1946 at State Center and they have made their home here, spending a number of winters in McAllen, Texas.
Mrs Severidt was a charter member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and the Ladies Aid of that church.
She is survived by her husband and two daughters, Mrs Darwin Riese of State Cneter and Mrs Melvin Mueller of Elmhurt, Illinois. Also surviving are six step-children, Mrs Harold Mahlow, Glenn, George, Donald and Earl Severidt, all of State Center and Harold Severidt of Marshalltown. Eight grandchildren and 18 step-grandchildren also survive.
Other survivors include a half brother, Albert Bohnsack, State Center and two half-sisters living in Germany.
