Laura Myrtle, daughter of Mary Helen and John Saiter, was born in Darwin Township, Clark County, Illinois, on August 1, 1902. She departed this life on November 24, 1978 in Union Hospital, Terre Haute, Indiana, at the age of 76 years, 3 months, and 23 days.

She was the youngest of eight children. Three sisters, Katie E. Ogle, Carrie C., Margaret Estella Haddix; and four brothers, William Benjamin, Oliver, and Clifford, preceded her in death.

Laura was married to Arnold Bohn on October 10, 1926. One son, Gene Arnold, was born to this union. Laura was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

She had a love of music and with her lovely voice, brought comfort to many in times of sorrow.

Laura was a member of Emmauel United Methodist Church.

She is survived by the husband, Arnold; the son, Gene, of Marshall; two granddaughters, Alissa and Janell; several nieces and nephews, and many friends.
