ROSSVILLE, GA - Mattie Faye Allen, 71, passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2012.

Faye was born in Rainsville, AL, to the late Jake and Dee Bohannon and was owner/operator of several restaurants in the area.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Earl Vern Allen; and grandson, Thomas Sharp.

Survivors include her children, Theresa Sharp, Donna Cross, James Sharp, all of Rossville, GA, Robert Sharp, of Ringgold, GA, Tammie Graham, Sheila Powell, both of Chickamauga, GA; siblings, Ruby Collins, of Flintstone, GA, Mary Loudermilk, Warren (Wanda) Bohannon, Burlen (Carolyn) Bohannon, all of Rainsville, AL; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, Londyn, Cameron, Kyler; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 6 p.m. Friday, November 9, 2012, in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel with the Rev. Neal Powell officiating.

Family will receive friends from 4 until 9 p.m. today and prior to the service Friday at the funeral home.

Interment will follow at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in Chattanooga National Cemetery.

Arrangements are by W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home, Fort Oglethorpe, GA.
