Clarence Eugene Boggs, 75, of Springfield died Sunday, March 20, 2005, at St. John's Hospice.
He was born July 17, 1929, in Springfield, the son of Clarence William and Helena Boggs. He married Shirley M. Vetter in 1957 in Springfield.
Mr. Boggs was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He retired as a welder from Fiatallis in 1982.
Survivors: wife, Shirley; three sons, David Lee and Kenneth Wayne (wife, Bridget) Boggs, both of Springfield, and Michael Eugene (wife, Susan) Boggs of Mechanicsburg; four grandchildren; two sisters, Margaret Lucille Gates and Patricia (husband, Earl) Norman, both of Springfield; brother, Jim (wife, Shirley) Boggs of Springfield; and several nieces and nephews.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Wilson Park Funeral Home, Rochester, the Rev. Clint Cook officiating. Burial: Rochester Cemetery.
