Mrs. Eloise "Weezie" Boggess, 75, of Madisonville, KY, died Saturday, January 5, 2007 at her home.
Born July 3, 1932 in White Plains, KY she was the daughter of the late O.W. "Edd" Edwards and Gretchen "Peck" Johnson Edwards. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Billie Faye Kirkwood on October 28, 1963.
She is survived by her husband, Norman Royce Boggess of Madisonville; two daughters, Diane Lee Boggess of Madisonville and Ruth Carol Boggess Willett of Bardstown, KY; one son, Stephen Edward Boggess of Madisonville and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday; January 9, 2008 at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. David Waddle officiating. Burial will follow in the Odd Fellows Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeff Kirkwood, Mike Travis, Aaron Ellis, William Ellis, J.P. Willett and Bruce Boggess. Honorary pallbearers will be Haley Willett, Caroline Willett, Anna Ellis, Emma Boggess, Kendall Boggess and Edward "Ted" Boggess.
Friends may call from 4:30 P.M. until 7:30 P.M. Tuesday and on Wednesday from 12:30 P.M. until the service.
