Mrs. Carrie Boggess
Mrs. Carrie Boggess, 75, Fairmont, died at 4 a.m. Monday in her home.
She was born April 5, 1886, in Taylor County, a daughter of the late George M. and Mary Jane Johnson Peer.
Her husband, J. Blaine Boggess, a security officer in the First National Bank of Fairmont for many years, died October 31, 1955.
Mrs. Boggess was a member of the Diamond Street Methodist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. James (Helen) Overmeyer and Mrs. Mary Ellen Criss, both of Ford (sic) Lauderdale, Fla.: four grandchildren, Richard Overmeyer and Judith, Sue Ann and William Robert Criss; four sisters, Mrs. E. R. Louden and Mrs. D. J. Foley, both of Fairmont, Mrs. R. E. Shaw of Grafton, and Mrs. Robert Chenoweth of Kansas City, Mo. Two brothers and two sisters are deceased.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 3 p.m. in the Ford Funeral Home in Fairmont, with the Rev. I. S. Middaugh officiating. Interment will be in Woodlaw (sic) Cemetery.
