CALDWELL - Services for Ruth Leone Black Bidduoph, 72, 614 Fillmore, who died Friday in a Caldwell hospital, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
Officiating will be Bishop Albert B. Stettler of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Fourth Ward. Interment will be at Canyon Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Biddulph was born on April 8, 1902, in Des Moines, Iowa, and came to Idaho with her parents as a child. She attended the State School for the Blind at Gooding, On Nov. 27, 1927, she married Dan Black in Caldwell and they lived here until moving to Boise in 1939.
They operated a food and gift concession at the Statehouse for a number of years and also operated Dan Black's Dance Orchestra. Mr. Black died in October, 1953. She married Theodore Biddulph in April, 1956, in Boise, and they lived in Ogden until his death in 1960. She had lived with a friend, Anna Ostberg, since 1968.
She was a member of the LDS Fourth Ward and was active in the National Federation for the Blind in Idaho.
Surviving are a son, Keith V. Black, Long Beach, Calif.; a sister, Ardelle Sandy, Seaside, Ore.; two grandsons and a granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews, including Boyd Black and Ruby Braden, both of Caldwell.
Friends may call at the chapel until 9 tonight. Memorials may be given to the National Federation for the Blind, in care of Miss Ostberg.
