7 Jun 2009: Betty S. Bogdon, 86, of Lenker Manor, passed away on June 5, 2009 at Harrisburg Hospital. She was the daughter of the late George and Gertrude Cawley Spencer. She retired from Dauphin Manor and previously worked for PP&L in Hazleton. She enjoyed bowling and playing cards with friends and neighbors in Lenker Manor, but mostly enjoyed spending time with her family. In addition to her husband, Robert, she is survived by 2 sons, David of Florida and Scott and his wife Sharon of Enola; a sister, Charlotte and her husband Bernard Lenhart of Allentown; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at 12 noon in the Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry Street, Harrisburg with a visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Indiantown Gap Nation Cemetery, Annville. [Harrisburg Patriot-News]
