Amanda A. Bogar, 86, formerly of Vida, died Tuesday in Faith Lutheran Home in Wolf Point where she had lived since April 1975.
She was born Feb. 15, 1889, in Roscoe, S.D., a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Eggebrecht, Sr. She grew up and attended school in Roscoe and moved to Montana in 1909.
She married Albert Bogar April 27, 1910, in Glasgow. They homesteaded in Vida until 1945. They later spent their winters in Billings and summers in Vida. Her husband died in 1959 and she had lived with a daughter. Mrs. Bogar was a member of the Lutheran Church.
Survivors include two sons, Melvin of Vida, and Lawrence of Portland, Ore.; two daughters, Mrs. Edward Ahrens of Billings and of Wolf Point, and Mrs. Adeline Glyshaw of Wolf Point; 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Services at Clayton Memorial Chapel, Wolf Point. Burial in Vida Cemetery.
