Funeral services for Edna Anderson, age 94 of Bottineau, were held on Friday at 2:00 P.M. at the First Lutheran Church in Bottineau. Burial was in the Oak Creek Cemetery also of Bottineau. Officiating at the service was the Reverend Glenn Berge. The organist was Elaine Freeman. Casket bearers were Peter Larson, Jeremy Larson, Eric Larson and Robert Ralston.

Edna Anderson, a daughter of Edward and Bertha (Raddatz) Boettcher, was born near Gardena on September 11, 1915. At a young age she moved with her family to the Roth area. She helped her family on the farm. On October 30 1937 she was married to Oscar Anderson at Landa. The couple lived and farmed at rural Souris until 1977 when the retired and moved into Bottineau. They continued to maintain their farming interest. Oscar died on September 25, 1998. On April 1, 2001 she entered the St. Andrews's long term facility where she has resided since.

She was a member of the Mouse River Lutheran Church of Landa, and since moving into Bottineau has become a member of the first Lutheran Church. Edna was a member of the Ladies Aid and the church circles.

Edna died on Monday, February 22, 2010 in a Bottineau hospital

She is survived by a daughter, Phyllis Steltz of Alburtis, PA; a son Robert of Bottineau; 3 grandchildren, Connie Steltz, Cindy Rauenzahn and Scott Steltz all of Alburtis, PA; 4 great-grandchildren, Trevor Steltz, Levi Steltz, Tasha Steltz and Ryan Rauenzahn all of Alburtis, PA; a great-great-granddaughter, Viola.

Edna was preceded in death by her parent, husband, 4 brothers and 3 sisters.
