Phyllis Sterling Boehme, of Mt. Pleasant, widow of Robert Boehme, passed into the arms of Jesus August 22, 2010.

Mrs. Boehme was born June 8, 1926, daughter of the late Elmer Watson Sterling and Rebecca Bennett Sterling of Church Hill, MD.

A retired Clerk Stenographer, she was a faithful and very active member of the Hillcrest Baptist Church, where she was dearly loved.

She is survived by her two sisters, Elinor Kessel of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Janet Joiner and husband, Charles of Chestertown, MD; her brother, Donald W. Sterling and wife, Jean of Walterboro, SC; several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.

Burial was in Church Hill Cemetery, Church Hill, MD.
