Cheryl E. Boechler, 66, of Wilton, ND, died September 26, 2015 at CHI St. Alexius Medical Center in Bismarck.

Cheryl was born May 19, 1949 in Minot, ND to Marvin & Mabel (Locken) Dyke. She was raised on a farm near Plaza, ND and graduated from Plaza High School where she was a member of the marching band and pep club. Following high school, Cheryl attended the Minot College of Business. She married Clem Boechler on December 28, 1968 in Makoti, ND. Cheryl was blessed to be able to stay at home with her sons Cameron and Collin while they were young. The family lived in Beach, ND where she owned and operated Cedar Liquors until 1989 when they moved to Wilton, ND. Clem and Cheryl purchased the Time Out Tavern in Wilton in 1999. Clem passed away unexpectedly on May 10, 2000. Cheryl operated the Time Out Tavern until her retirement in 2006. She enjoyed reading, talking politics, and collecting miniature tea sets. Cheryl loved to visit with people and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan.

She is survived by her two sons, Cameron (Becki) Boechler of Wilton, & Collin (Tara) Boechler of Rapid City, SD; 6 grandchildren, Seth, Hayle, Christian, Madison, Avery, & Aiden; her special friend, Steve Ward of Wilton; two brothers, Allen (Barb) Dyke & Danny (Linda) Dyke, both of Plaza, ND; one sister, Marilyn Hagen of Ocala, FL; and numerous nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband (Clem), and her parents (Marvin & Mabel).
