Prosperity – Services for John Clifford (J. C.) "Bubba" Bobb, 69, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bachman Chapel Lutheran Church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-7 tonight at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home.
Mr. Bobb died June 6, 2002. Born in Prosperity, he was a son of the late Johnnie Arthur and Emma Mae Johnson Bobb. Mr. Bobb was a retired employee of American Fiber and Finishing and was a member of Bachman Chapel Lutheran Church.
Surviving are his son, John Aaron Bobb of Prosperity; daughters, Bonni Bobb of Columbia, Jennie Bobb of Greenwood; sisters, Ola Mae Abbott, Mary Cromer, Blanche Cromer and Eva Mae Somers, all of Newberry; brothers, Otis Bobb and Larry Bobb, both of Columbia, and Robert E. Bobb of Prosperity.
