Juanita Boatman Bean, 70, of Cookeville passed away on Friday, July 26, 2013 at her home in Cookeville after a long battle with cancer.
She was born August 12, 1942 in Cookeville to the late Amanda Frances Herron and W. D. Boatman.
Funeral services will be held 3p.m. Sunday July 28 from the chapel of Presley Funeral Home with Brothers Johnny Fox and Horace Burks officiating. Burial will be in the Cookeville City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Saturday, July 27 and from noon until time of services on Sunday at the funeral home.
She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Bouldin and Pamela Eldridge of Cookeville, three grandsons, Jeramiah and Johnathan Eldridge and River Langford, all of Cookeville. A granddaughter, Asia Bouldin Viers and her husband Jason and two great grandchildren, Jackson and Ellie all of Detroit, Michigan. She is also survived by a sister and brother in law, Carolyn Boatman Pardue and her husband Steve of Cookeville, a niece Rachel Pardue Erwin and husband Joe and two great nieces, Caleigh and Claire of Dyersburg, A nephew, Michael Pardue and wife Lauren and two great nieces, Ansley and Sadie Rose of Germantown.
She worked at the Cracker Barrel in Cookeville for over 32 years. Many of her loyal patrons always asked for "Miss Nita" to wait on them because of her professionalism.
In addition to her parents she was proceeded in death by her husband of 52 years, Charles Edward Bean and her parents W.D. and Amanda Boatman.
Pallbearers will be: Steve Pardue, Michael Pardue, Jeramiah and Johnathan Eldridge, Joe Erwin, and River Langford.
Funeral will be Sunday July 28, 2013, 3:00 PM at Presley Funeral Home Chapel.
