She was born January 25, 1933, to Leslie and Pauline (Piper) Cornelius in Dunlap, Kansas, where she grew up, one of five children. She married Andrew Blythe on January 17, 1953; they were married for 62 years.
Ann was a devoted wife and mother and a hardworking generous person. It didn’t matter if she had known you for five minutes or 80 years, she welcomed all with open arms and an open heart. Her love was expressed passionately through her musical abilities, artistic talent, and creative cooking. Her greatest joys were her family and she will be dearly missed by all.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter, Jeannie Blythe; son, Bob Blythe;and brother, Leslie (Tyke) Cornelius.
Ann is survived by her husband, Andrew and son, James Blythe both of the home; son, David Blythe; daughters, Kelley Blythe, Pam Kline and husband Greg, and Deb Andres and husband Dale; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings Frank Cornelius and wife Rosalie, Alice Kay Blankley and husband Kay, Sue Alexander and husband Mike; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services will be held at Dunlap Methodist Church Saturday, March 7th at 1:00 pm.
