He had a great love for music and was not only a great singer, but was an all-state trombonist while in high school. He enjoyed shooting pool and going to the gun range. He loved to install stereos and there was nothing he could not fix. He was a machinist at Georgia Pacific in Palatka. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife of 13 years, Rebecca Blundell of Palatka; three sons, Michael Lodrigues, Alexander Blundell and Nicholas Blundell, all of Palatka; his parents, Roger and Laura Blundell of Jefferson, Maine; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Robert and Stephanie Blundell of San Diego, CA and Brett Blundell of Winchester, VA; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Emily and Nathan Brown of Boca Raton, FL and Elizabeth Blundell of West Palm Beach, FL; Parents-in-law, Robert and Georgia Brooks of Ft. Myers, FL; and two sisters-in-law and a spouse, Bobbi Sue and C.J. Moore of Palatka and Jessica Anderson of St. Augustine; and other extended family members.
A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 31, 2014 at Masters Funeral Home in Palatka with Rev. Roger Blundell. To honor and celebrate his life a Video Tribute will be shown.
