Obituary for Viola A. Blue:
Viola A. Blue, 86, died September 30, 1998, at Hutchinson Hospital.
She was born August 30, 1912, at Abbeyville, the daughter of Russell Eugene and Bessie Pearl Marteney Oller. A Pratt resident since 1988, moving from Isabel, she was a retired wallpaper hanger.
She belonged to the Church of Christ, Isabel, and Rebekah Lodge and Ladies Encampment Auxiliary, both at Pratt.
On June 8, 1932 she married Alvin D. "Jack" Blue at Pratt. He died April 5, 1967.
Survivors include; three daughters, Jackie Drake, Brooklyn, Iowa, Charlene Meyers and Charlotte Miles, both of Hutchinson; two brothers, George Oller, Lucas; and Jerry Lee Oller, Langdon; five sisters, Lynette Chick, Moundridge, Gertrude Wheling, Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Velma Schnittaker, Glady Krug and Ellen Jean Venard, all of Pratt; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a great-grandchild.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Larrison Mortuary, Pratt, with John Hamm presiding. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at the Mortuary. Burial will be in the Isabel Cemetery, Isabel.
Memorials may be sent to the church or Isabel Senior Center, both in care of the mortuary
