BONHAM -- Howard Lewis Blount, 78, of Bonham, a retired dairyman, died Monday at a Bonham hospital.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Wise Funeral Home in Bonham. Burial will be in Brown Cemetery near Bonham.
Blount was born in Freestone County. He was a member of Boyd Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Cleo Blount of Bonham; three sons, James Blount of Denison, David Blount of Sherman and Robert Blount of Dallas; three daughters, Kathryn McClain of Shreveport, La., Betty Hubbert of Bonham and Janet Bledsoe of Austin; seven stepsons, Fred West, Kenneth West and Billy West, all of Arlington, Bobby West of Lancaster, David West of Mount Pleasant and Roy Junior West and Willie Dean West, both of Mansfield; four stepdaughters, Otie Lee Wade of Irving, Helen Johnson of Bonham, Ottie Miller of Greenville; two brothers, Bradford Blount of Arlington and Raymond Blount of Sherman; 25 grandchildren; and 42 great-grandchildren.
