Eva Sibley Blount died at 4:35 p.m. Sunday, June 8, 2003, at her daughter's residence in Walker. She was 98, a resident of Walker and a native of Livingston Parish. Visitation was at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, Monday. Religious services were at the funeral home chapel Tuesday, conducted by the Rev. Phillip Rush and the Rev. Jerry Poston. Burial was in Vickers Cemetery, Walker. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Ladol and Leroy Zeller; a sister, Laura Covington; three grandchildren, Earnest Zeller, Sherry Cason and Alice Devall; four great-grandchildren, Tammy Avara, Candace Futral, Sterling Zeller and Gary Devall; five great-great-grandchildren, Brett Devall, Devin Futral, Brianna Futral, Jordan Devall and Madison Zeller; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, L.V. Blount; and six sisters and a brother. She was a member of Judson Baptist Church in Walker.
