The funeral for Eleanor Bloom., Chisago City was held yesterday at the Margaret S Parmly Residence on April 11.
Eleanor Lundeen was born Jan 6, 1895 in Chisago City. She grew up on a farm south of Chisago City and attended Chisago City schools and then attended St Cloud Teachers College of Normal Training. After graduation Lundeen taught grade school for 15 years at Buell, Sunrise, Chisago City and Grand Rapids. On June 8 1926 she married G Elmer Bloom and they moved to a farm near Cushing, Wisconsin. In 1953 they retired to Center City. He died in 1961. She had lived at the Parmly Residence for the last 3 years.
She is survived by her son, John of Minneapolis, sister Edna Lundeen, Chisago City, three grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
