According to her Washington State death record, Irene was the daughter of Leon Blood and Clara La Croix. She was the wife of Elmer O. Arnold.

"Man Kills Mate, Takes Own Life During Quarrel
...The Arnolds came to Kent from South Dakota about a year and one-half ago.
Private services for Irene L. Arnold were conducted Monday at 2 p.m., at the chapel of the Kent Funeral Home with Rev. Honor L. Wilhelm of Seattle officiating. Burial was in the Kent.
Mrs. Arnold was born June 14, 1908, at Veblen, South Dakota.
Surviving her are her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Leon Blood of Kent; a brother, Ray Blood of Kent; three sisters, Mrs. Roy Opsahl of Kent, Mrs. D. T. Stamback of Kent and Mrs. Elwood Smith of Gervais, Oregon; and two sons, Richard Fay and Layton Elmer.
The body of Elmer O. Arnold was shipped to Britton, South Dakota, his birthplace, for burial. He was born April 21, 1907. Among his survivors are his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Arnold and other relatives, all in South Dakota."
