Anita M. Blohm, the daughter of William and Norma Kelley Berns, died at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa at the age of 30 years, 9 months, and 5 days.

She was baptized at the First Free Methodist Church in Des Moines, Iowa. She attended school in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Des Moines, Iowa, graduating from Des Moines, East High School.

On March 13, 1979 she was united in marriage to Russell E. Blohm at her parents' home in Cedar Rapids. She was employed by the Park Avenue Christian Church Day Care Center in Des Moines. She attended and was active in the Southside Church of the Nazarene in Des Moines.

Survivors include her husband, Russell Blohm, her children Angela Blohm and Russell Blohm, II, all of Des Moines, IA; her parents: William and Norma Berns of Solon, IA; her brothers and sisters: her twin sister Terrie Vance of Stewart, FL; Barb Van Hoeck of Cedar Rapids, IA; Lyle Berns of Iowa City, IA; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Emmert and Jane Blohm; sister-in-law, Kathryn Ladehoff; brother-in-law and wife David and Theresa Blohm all of Audubon, IA; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
