Genevieve Blohm, 84, daughter of James and Florence (McCabe) Cline, was born May 19, 1920 in Casey, IA. She passed away February 2, 2005 at the Guthrie County Hospital in Guthrie Center.

She grew up in Casey and graduated from Casey High School in 1938. On December 16, 1940 she married Louis Jorgen Blohm in Maryville, MO. After their marriage, they farmed in Audubon and Guthrie counties for 32 years. Tho this union, three children were born: Judy, Linda, and "Jim"-Louis James Blohm.

Louis & Genevieve retired in 1978 and moved into Adair. They then moved to Guthrie Center in 1997. Louis passed away in 2001 and she continued to live in the home until her time of death. Genevieve enjoyed quilting, embroidery, fishing, camping, and playing cards.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Audubon.

She is survived by her daughter, Judy (Mike) McDonald of Omaha; grandchildren, Steve and Jackie Nell, LeAnn and Mike Woodring, Shary and Tim Zuspann, Scott and Elaine McCabe, Greg and Shannon Nelson, Mike and Rhonda McDonald and Kevin McDonald; several great grandchildren; brothers Gerald Cline and Max Cline, both of Guthrie Center; one sister, DeLene Finnegan of Panora.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Louis; son Jim Blohm; daughter, Linda McCabe; granddaughter, Donna Nell; and sister Theresa.

Funeral was on Saturday, February 5, 2005 at the First United Methodist Church in Audubon.
