Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 26, at Jones-Preston Funeral Home Chapel for Carmel Jan Blevins, 68, of Thealka, who passed away July 22 at Waccamaw Community Hospital, Murrells Inlet, S.C.
He was born May 16, 1941, in Johnson County, son of the late Wayne and Dorothy Thompson Blevins.
He was a coal miner.
He is survived by three sons; one daughter, Prestonsburg; two sisters; and four grandchildren.
Public visitation will be from 6 p.m.- 9 p.m. today; 9 a.m. - 9 p.m. Saturday; and 9 a.m. Sunday until time for the funeral.
Services will be conducted by Toby Wheeler with burial at Lakeview Memorial Cemetery, Staffordsville.
Arrangements under the direction of Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
