Celia Cranford was the daughter of John Calvin Cranford and Elizabeth Wilkes Cranford she was born in about 1812in Chester County, South Carolina and died about 1890 in Winston County, Alabama. She married Armstead Elzie Blevins the son of Josiah Blevins and Rebecca Unk Blevins....Military Pension: After 1865, There is an application from Celia Blevins describing the deaths of her sons, John and Dillared Blevins in Nashville, Tennessee during the Civil War. Based on Cynthia Almedia Blevins White's recollection from attending her grandmother Celia Cranford Blevins' funeral when she was a child, and Uncle Jerry Blevins' regular research of the area, we now believe that Armstead and Celia are buried in the Wilson Cemetery in Winston County, AL (cemetery number: 27144).

Celia was 1 of 13 children born to John and Elizabeth Cranford, they are as follows;
