CITY LAST NIGHT

Junction City, Wis.—Burns receiv-
ed by Henry Blenker Jr., 23-year-
old son of a prominent farmer living
5 miles west of here, when his car
caught fire after crashing into a
string of freight cars standing on a
crossing in this village at 12 o'clock
last night resulted in his death at a
Stevens Point hospital four hours
later.
The young man had been attendng
a dance in Junction City during
the evening, and had just started for
home in his Overland touring car
when the accident occurred. Coming
down the main street Blenker evi-
dently failed to see the southbound
freight train standing on the C. M.
& St. Paul crossing until it was too
late to avoid the collision...
Henry Blenker jr. would have
been 23 years old tomorrow. He was
born on his father's farm a few
miles west of here and had made his
home there all his life. At the time
of his death he was employed as a
truck driver for the Dairybelt
Creamery company here.
Deceased is survived by his father
and mother, seven brothers and two
sisters, besides many other relatives
in this locality. Funeral services will
be held at nine o'clock Friday mornng
from the St. Michael's Catholic
church in Junction City, the Rev. Fr.
Kreaiecue officiating. Interment will
be made in the family lot at the
Blenker cemetery.

FRIDAY MORNING

Junction City, Wis. Oct. 12— Fu-
neral services for Henry Blenker
Jr., who died at Stevens Point a few
hours alter he had been injured and
almost cremated when his car
struck a Chicago, Milwaukee and
St. Paul road train here and then
burst into flames, will be held Fri-
day morning.
Services will be conducted by
Rev. P. J. Kuizejka[?] at St. Mich-
ael's church at 9:30 o'clock, with
burial following at Sherry.
Besides the parents, the follow-
ing brothers and sisters survive:
John, Joseph, Clarence, Albert, Vet-
omen, Fred, Agatha, Sylvan, James,
Lawrence and Leon.
Henry was the oldest son of Mr.
and Mrs. Henry Blenker, Sr. who
reside a few miles west of Junction
City.
