Died, of pneumonia, at her home in Lead City, SD, Sunday evening, April 26th, 1908, Mrs. Katie Lissolo Blechschmidt, aged 31 years and 4 months. Her life passed away with the setting of the sun, and from the presence of husband, children and mother who were gathered around the beside.
Katie Lissolo was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Lissolo, who are well and favorably known in the vicinities of Cambria and Newcastle. She was born in northern Italy, December 12th, 1876, and came with her parents to this country in 1884. She attended school in Cambria, where her family had located, and was a ray of sunshine in the midst of friends, at school and at home. She was married on July 28, 1896 to Albert Blechschmidt,, to which union 3 children were born, and who survive their mother-Carl, Martha and Blanche, aged ten, six, and ½ years, respectively. About seven years ago Mr. and Mrs. Blechschmidt moved to Lead City, where they have since made their home, respected by a large circle of friends.
