OLD HICKORY - Funeral services for Pearl Blaylock Agee, 93, formerly of Monterey, will be held Friday, July 6, at 10:30 a.m. in the Old Hickory Church of the Nazarene. Graveside services and burial will follow at 2 p.m. at the Whittaker Cemetery in Monterey.
Mrs. Agee died Tuesday (July 3, 1990) in the Tennessee Christian Medical Center in Madison.
She was a native of Putnam County and the daughter of the late Willis and Lucy Lackey Blaylock.
Mrs. Agee was a member of the Madison Church of the Nazarene and formerly owned and operated the Agee Nursing Home.
Her family includes three daughters, Willene Rosa of Rock Island, Illinois; Ruth Whited and Carrie Knox, both of Madison; three sons, James E. Agee of Hermitage, Talmage Agee of Barnwell, South Carolina, and Rev. Fred Agee of Rodgers, Arkansas; adopted son, Arden Haddix; 16 grandchildren and 34 great-grandehildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie H. Agee.
The family will receive friends at the Madison Funeral Home after 1 p.m. today. Rev. Wayne Brown will officiate.
