Mrs. Verna T. Blass, 89, of Copake, died Sunday at Willowood Nursing home, Great Barrington, Mass. Born in Pine Plains July 27, 1895, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Ida (Weaver) Tompkins. Mrs. Blass was the widow of Leroy Blass. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Charlotte Parsons of Copake, and a grand-daughter, Mrs. Beverly Turner, Philmont
