Amanda Torres Blas, "Danda" (March 9, 1912 - March 13, 2010) (Familian Katson / Dero), of Piti, was called home by our heavenly Father at the age of 98.
Mass of Intention was offered each evening at the Dulce Nombre de Maria Cathedral-Basilica in Hagatna, from Monday through Saturday at 6 p.m., followed by the Rosary (except on Sunday, when the Rosary was prayed at 6:30 p.m., followed by the Mass at 7 p.m.). Last Respects for Amanda were paid on Monday, March 22nd at the Dulce Nombre de Maria Cathedral-Basilica in Hagatna, beginning at 9:00 a.m. and concluding at 12 noon. Mass for a Christian burial was offered at 12:30 p.m.
Interment followed at Pigo Catholic Cemetery, where we bade her farewell and peaceful rest.
