Billy was the son of Arthur Otto Blankenship and Mary Elizabeth Hand Blankenship.

BLANKENSHIP RITES SUNDAY

MOULTON-Funeral services for Billy Gene Blankenship, 40, and Mrs. Lavenia Blankenship, 42, who died Wednesday night in the storm, were Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at Monk City Apostolic Christian Church, Junior Hale and Lynn Klopfenstein officiated, with burial in Moulton Memory Gardens, Elliott Funeral Home directed.

Mr. and Mrs. Blankenship's survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Vickie Dianne Blankenship Dutton, Moulton; and two sons, Ricky Howard Blankenship and Timothy Gene Blankenship, both of Moulton.

Mr. Blankenship is also survived by a mother, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Blankenship, Decatur; two sisters,, Mrs. B.E. Grant, Flint, Mrs. James Duncan, Decatur; two brothers, Charles Blankenship, Kenneth Blankenship, both of Decatur.

Pallbearers were Jerry Hunter, Ray Louallen, Jerry Walker, Eluis Louallen, Clyde Reeves and Jack Hand.

Mr. and Mrs. Blankenship were members of Monk City Apostolic Christian Church.
