Funeral services for Charles Blank, 65, Los Angeles, formerly of Norfolk, who died May 1 were conducted Saturday at Norfolk with burial in New Lutheran cemetery. He was born September 29, 1889 at Norfolk to Mr. and Mrs. Gottlieb Blank. He was married in 1910 to Miss Elsie Ricke. He was employed as a boilermaker by the Chicago and North Western Railway for a number of years. He moved to California in 1941. He was survived by 1 son Herbert at Tampa, Florida; 2 grandchildren, 6 sisters: Mrs. Fred Thompson, Mrs. Martha bland, Mrs. James Gilland all at Norfolk; Mrs. Claude Hausch at Camiralla, California; Mrs. E. A. Hille at Glendale, California; Mrs. Elsie Woessner at Saticoy, California; 3 brothers: Paul at Fremont, Otto at South Gate, California; Leo at Camiralla, California.
