Diana Lynn Blaney, 43, of Roanoke, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2005. She was born in Roanoke, Va. on February 24, 1962 and was preceded in death by her mother, Lucinda Blaney; two brothers, William "Wink" Bolden and Kenneth "Kenny" Whitlock. She is survived by her father, Johnny T. Blaney; son, Anthony Blaney; (Tony Irving, father); two sisters, Johnnie Bonds Blaney and Debra Richardson Farquharson; uncle, Daniel Bolden; brother-in-law, Garry Bonds; grandson, Jamal Anthony Blaney; granddaughter, Natica Thompson; four nephews; three nieces; and a devoted friend, Lillie Pond; a host of other cousins and friends. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, April 15, 2005, at Maple Street Baptist Church with Dr. Charles Calloway officiating. The interment will be in Old Dominion Memorial Gardens.
