Mrs. Catherine Blanchfield of No. 666 Windsor avenue died about 6 o'clock last evening of apoplexy (unconsciousness or incapacity resulting from a cerebral hemorrhage or stroke) at St. Francis hospital where she had been a little more than three weeks. She was born in Kings county, Ireland, but had lived in Hartford more than half a century. Mrs. Blanchfield was the widow of James Blanchfield, who died last June at Poughkeepsie, N.
