Edna L. V. (Blanchard) Anthony, died in her home in Bridgewater Aug. 25, 2010, at age 91 surrounded by her loving family. Edna was born in Rye, N.Y., daughter of the late Elsie P. (Moore) and George A. Blanchard. She was a credit manager for Hallsmith-Sysco for many years. Mrs Anthony was a member of the Eastern Star both in Portland, Maine, and Brockton, the Apache Camping Group, North American Family Camping Assoc. Plymouth Rock Chapter, National Campers & Travelers Assoc. She also wintered for many years in Florida. Edna loved camping and spent three years on the road after her retirement touring 45 states, Canada and Mexico. She also toured Italy, Austria, Switzerland and Germany. She was also a member of the Pembroke and Bridgewater Senior Centers and the Bridgewater Seniors Writing Group the "Tail Spinners". Edna was a Girl Scout leader for Troupe 13 in Bridgewater for 11 years and was a talented jewelry maker and had several stained glass works commissioned in Maryland. Wife of the late Wesley E. Anthony Sr., she was the mother of Patricia E. Dunlevy of Maryland, Cheryl L. Harrington and her husband Ted of Baldwinville and Wesley E. Anthony Jr. and his wife Linda of Bridgewater. Also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by son-in-law, Thomas Dunlevy Sr.; grandmother of the late Roberta Berry; great-grandmother of the late Brendan Dunlevy and Ryan Boulanger; grandmother-in-law of the late Karin Dunlevy.
