Daughter of the late Brantley B. Blanchard and Lessie Hilliard, she was the widow of Ray A. Tysinger. Additionally, she was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Blanchard, and by one sister, Charlotte Jean Blanchard. She was a 50-year member of Hood Memorial Christian Church in Dunn, NC, where her funeral was held on December 28, 2010, with The Rev. Laura Johnson officiating. She was survived by one son, Kenneth Tysinger (Beverly); one daughter, Linda West; two brothers, Rudolph Blanchard and Wayne Blanchard; two sisters, Dorothy Blanchard and Emily Sue Adams; four grandchidren, Cynthia West, Nicole Nicholson, Brian Tysinger and Amanda Tysinger; and four great-grandchildren, Cody Matthews, Maggie West, Anderson West and Will Penny; and an extended family of relatives.
