Laura May Blanch

Laura May Blanch 68, well know resident and church worker of West Weber, died t nine-twenty a.m. today in an Ogden hospital after a long illness.
She was born June 2, 1878 in West Weber, a daughter of Thomas and Sarah Wheeler Etherington, early Utah pioneers, and had resided here her entire life. She was a member of the L. D. S. ward relief Society, and daughters of Utah Pioneers, Camp 34, and had been active in other church organizations.
She was married to Joseph Blanch in the Salt Lake Temple in 1896. He died in West Weber Jun 26, 1929.
Surviving are the following children, J. Glen Blanch, Chemist at the Glove Mills, Ogden; Mrs. W. N. Judkins, Murray; George T. Blanch of the U.S.A.C. facility, Logan, Grant e. Blanch, a student at Ithaca, New York; Mrs. Lee Stoker, Burley, Idaho Mrs. Heber J.Hancock, Mrs. Parley L. Wagstaff, John R. and J. Don Blanch, all of West Weber; 28 grandchildren and two brothers and four sisters, Mrs. James R. McFarland, Mrs. P F. McFarland, Mrs. H. B. dance, and James A. Etherington, all of West Weber; George w. Etherington, Idaho Falls, Idaho, and Mrs. M.R. Montgomery, North Ogden.
Services will be conducted Tuesday at two p. m. in the West Weber ward chapel by Bishop George A. Heslop. Friends may call at Lindquist &Sons funeral chapel, Ogden, Sunday from six to nine p.m. and at the family home Monday afternoon and evening had Tuesday until time of services. Interment will be in West Weber cemetery.
