We Cannot Say And Will Not Say, That She Is Dead, She Is Just Away.

As briefly stated in a previous issue of this paper, Mrs. J. R. Beesley, beloved wife of a prominent merchant of this city died at the Princeton hospital in the early hours of Tuesday morning. The sympathy of the entire community goes out to the grief-stricken members of the family in there great bereavement.

Mrs. Beesley had been critically ill for three weeks, following a major operation, performed at that time in an effort to restore her failing health. Loving, tender ministrations were futile and her spirit slipped away to that eternal home, where there is no more pain, nor any tears or sorrow.

Rose Virginia Blaylock Beesley, was a native of Caldwell County. She was born 60 years ago in the Friendship Community. She was the daughter of J. W. Blalock.

Mrs. Beesley was a woman whose love of home and family was the very center and circumference of existence; her neighborliness and charity of heart endeared her to every acquaintance. She was the mother of four children; one died in youth, a son Ernest Beesley passed away in 1918; her husband and two children, Carl Beesley and Miss Lucille Beesley survive. She also leaves two grandchildren, Carl Jr., and James Price Beesley.

The deceased was a devoted member of the Christian church.

The funeral service was held at the family residence Wednesday afternoon, with Mr. D. D. Dugan conducting the consoling rites. The profusion of flowers and large attendance attested the esteem in which she was held.

Burial followed in Lebanon Cemetery in this county. The pallbearers were Messrs. Ed Egbert, Alton Templeton, Neal Banister, Howard McConnell, Walter Davis and Walter Rodgers.

Two sisters and one brother are also left to mourn her loss, they are Mrs. Florence Ridley of Princeton, Mrs. M. B.Press, McKinney, Texas, and Mr. Holland Blaylock of Dawson Springs.
