|Death: ||Oct. 4, 1781|
Mary (Scott) Blakeslee (Blakslee) was born about 1703. Her parents names are not known, although many speculate that her father was Richard Scott. She married Thomas Blakeslee in Sunderland MA, where their first child, David, was born on 2 Nov 1722. The family soon removed to Thomas' home in North Haven CT, due to troubles with the Indians. About 1730, Thomas, Mary and their four children removed to Northbury, in the wilderness. Mary bore 9 children - 3 boys and six girls, and still outlived her husband.
